ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The conference opens on February 4 with an Opening Reception and two training sessions: Carbon 101 and Stoves 101. February 5 and 6 are full conference days across four themes: Carbon Markets, R&D / Innovation, Methodologies, and Impact.

ETHOS invites researchers, practitioners, students, entrepreneurs, and others working across the clean cooking sector to submit proposals for the 2027 ETHOS Conference.
PRICING
In-Person Tickets
Includes full conference access, the opening reception, coffee, tea, and snacks throughout, and lunch on Friday and Saturday.
• Regular: $260 USD
• Student: $100 USD
• Late registration (after January 15): $295 USD
Virtual Tickets
Includes livestream access to conference sessions, plus online chat and discussion so you can ask questions and connect with other attendees.
• Regular: $30 USD
• Student: $10 USD
Need help covering the cost?
We want ETHOS to be open to everyone doing this work, wherever they are. If cost is in any way a barrier, especially for attendees based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), we encourage you to apply for a discounted or free ticket by January 15. Assistance covers registration only, not travel.
Traveling from abroad? Visa invitation letters
If you need an invitation letter for your visa application, request one by emailing ETHOS Board Member Nordica MacCarty: nordica@aprovecho.org. Include your full name as it appears on your passport, your nationality, and your organization. Apply early since visa timelines can be long.
Make the most of your visit: Tour Aprovecho Research Center
Aprovecho Research Center invites the ETHOS community to visit their campus in Cottage Grove, Oregon (2.25 hours south of the conference). On Wednesday, February 3rd they will host an open house with lab tours, emissions testing demonstrations, opportunities to operate cooking and heating stove designs, and lively discussions.
